Baby Bloomers- Rain

Our Baby Bloomers are truly blooming. Today we had the biggest class of babies I have had since I started with 8 babies.  They are between 3 to 7 months old and at all stages, crawling, rolling over, giggling and making all sort of adorable noises. I confess it is they are the highlight of my week.

This week we read about rain...just because.

Up & Down Rhyme
Up, up in the sky like this, (gently lift baby in the air)
Down, down for a great big kiss( slowly bring baby down and kiss)
Up like this (lift up)
Down for a kiss (lower down)
You’re my special baby! (hug and cuddle baby)

Nursery Rhyme: Chook, Chook, Chook

Mother and Father and Uncle John * we tried this for this first time today.
Mother and father and uncle John (bounce baby on lap)
Went to town, one by one (tip baby to one side)
Mother fell off
And father fell off (tip baby to other side)
But uncle John went on and on and on! (bounce baby on lap)

The Eensy Weensy Spider
The eensy weensy spider
Went up the water spout
Down came the rain
And washed the spider out
Out came the sun and dried up all the rain
So the eensy weensy spider
went up the spout again.
