Baby Bloomers- Birthdays

Today we had a couple of new babies and some old friends. I was concerned our attendance was going to be low because of the holiday but we actually had a great group of eager babies and parents.  This age group is very interested with our toys and because we had a couple of older and more mobile babies (crawlers) the interactions were a bit different.  I didn't remove our toys because we only had three babies at the start of the class, but in hindsight I should have as they became to much of a distraction.  Overall the stories went well and the songs were fun for both adults and babies. The section were I am encouraging parents to read with their child went really well with every parent participating. We actually had little ones handing books to each others parents.
