After a couple of very cold days and library closing we were able to resume story time, and let me tell you, our tots were ready to "Shake Their Sillies" and dance around like snowflakes.  Since they are predicting snow again- I know it seems it has been snowing for months- our theme today was snow. 
At the last minute I added one of our new arrivals,  You Make Me Smile by Layn Marlow



because it was perfect for our "make a snowman" flannel" plus it is beautifully illustrated with precise and short text.  Here is our handout:
